Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within three business days. Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timelessly however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence Mbiri will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping schedule. A delivery being delayed is not grounds for return or refund.
All orders are dispatched via the South African Post Office, courier service or international air mail, or Namibian post office and courier companies in Namibia. You accept that in order for us to prove delivery of an order, we do not have to prove that you personally received the goods, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the delivery.
For deliveries to physical addresses in South Africa where we use a courier door-to-door service, please allow 2 to 5 business days for delivery. For international orders, please allow 20-40 business days.
Deliveries within South Africa by post are charged at the price quoted on the Cart page, depending on the value of the order and the weight of the parcel. Deliveries within South Africa by courier are charged at the price quoted on the Cart page, depending on the delivery region. Our website checkout system will display the appropriate charge for you to select.
We ship worldwide and we offer two different delivery methods to our international customers : Standard Delivery (20 to 40 working days) or Express Delivery (2 to 3 working days). The costs vary according to the total weight of the order and the destination country. The options will be presented to you, together with the costs, upon entering your address at checkout.
Please note that our “Standard Delivery” international shipping parcels do not come with a tracking number. If your order has not been delivered after 40 working days, please contact us with your order number so that we can follow up on the matter.
All “Express Delivery” orders will be sent with DHL on airfreight and delivery time is 2 to 3 working days depending on your location and customs delays. Please note that delivery might take longer if the parcel is held at customs. For Express Delivery you will be provided with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
Please note that for all international deliveries Mbiri is not responsible for any import duties or taxes that may be applicable in the country of delivery. All costs over and above the shipping rate that is paid for at check out are the responsibility of the client. Please be sure you are aware of your countries importation system before you place an order. Mbiri will not take responsibility for any damaged or lost parcels. If the wrong order is delivered to you please contact Mbiri within two days of delivery and we will then refund you for the incorrect item.
Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY
An order can be cancelled if payment has not yet been made for the order by the customer. If a product is damaged or broken when you receive it, you must inform Mbiri within one business day of receiving it. We will then make arrangements for a replacement product to be sent to you on our account or to refund you in full for the damaged or broken product.
If you decide you no longer wish to keep the products you received, we will refund or exchange the product(s) if you return the products, at your own expense, within 14 days of receiving your order. All returned goods will be examined upon receipt. For reasons of hygiene we are unable to offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on any opened or used goods. We will process your return as quickly as possible and will notify you by email once your refund, replacement or exchange has been processed.
If you receive the wrong product you must contact Mbiri within one business day. We will arrange to swop the ‘wrong’ product for the one actually ordered on our account.

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND PRICING
Payment may be made via credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), Instant EFT (bank transfers to any of SA’s four biggest banks that get instantly verified). All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
Mbiri endeavour to offer you competitive prices on current products; your total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges (on the day of shipping). Mbiri reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Mbiri via PayFast (Pty) Ltd who are an approved payment gateway in South Africa. PayFast uses the highest level of encryption currently available (Extended Validation SSL with 256-bit encryption – only two of the four major South African banks use this). The company registration documents and the site’s registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte. 3D Secure is in place for all credit card transactions. All sensitive information is encrypted within their own database. Users may go to https://www.payfast.co.za/s/std/security to view their security certificate and security policy.
